Delete your data

This page applies to the app MenoShift: Perimenopause (Android and iOS), published by MenoShift, [email protected]. There are no accounts, so there is no account to delete — only data on your phone and one anonymous purchase record.

Step 1 — Delete the data on your phone

Your profile, check-ins, cycle history, notes, medication, HRT and lab entries, and every daily summary the app derived from Apple Health or Health Connect are stored only inside the app on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it immediately:

  1. Android: touch and hold the MenoShift icon → App info → Uninstall (or Settings → Apps → MenoShift → Uninstall).
  2. iOS: touch and hold the MenoShift icon → Remove App → Delete App.
  3. If you ever used More → Your data → Export backup, delete that backup file wherever you saved it — it is the only other copy of your data.
  4. Optional: revoke the app's permissions in Health Connect (Android) or the Health app (iOS). The underlying sleep, heart-rate, temperature and menstruation records belong to Health Connect / Apple Health and are managed there, not by MenoShift.

Nothing on our side needs to change for this step: we never receive a copy of this data.

Step 2 — Delete the purchase record on our side

If you bought MenoShift Pro, our subscription provider RevenueCat holds one record for us: a randomly generated anonymous app-user ID, the platform (App Store or Google Play) and your purchase history (product, purchase and expiry dates). It contains no name, e-mail, payment details or health data. To delete it:

  1. E-mail [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”. Write from any address — no account or login is needed.
  2. Tell us the store (App Store or Google Play) and the approximate purchase date, so we can find the record.
  3. We delete the record within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. After deletion, an active subscription can no longer be restored in the app from that record; cancelling or refunding a subscription is done separately in your App Store or Google Play account.

If you never bought Pro, no data about you exists on our side.

What is deleted, what is kept, and for how long

Profile, check-ins, cycle, notes, medication, HRT, lab results

Stored only on your phone. Deleted immediately when you uninstall the app. We keep nothing.

Daily summaries derived from Apple Health / Health Connect

Stored only on your phone. Deleted immediately when you uninstall the app. The source records stay in Apple Health / Health Connect under Apple’s or Google’s control.

Anonymous app-user ID and purchase history

Held by RevenueCat on our behalf for as long as the purchase can be restored. Deleted within 30 days of your e-mail request.

Payment details and store receipts

Never held by us. Kept by Apple or Google under their own policies; manage them in your App Store or Google Play account.

Support e-mails

Kept in our mailbox for up to 12 months to resolve your request, deleted earlier on request.
